"Kick-Ass 2": First Look @ 'Colonel Stars' and 'Night Bitch'

Sneak Peek new images and a video of your first look at actor Jim Carrey as the costumed vigilante leader 'Colonel Stars' in the new film "Kick-Ass 2".

Other comic book characters in the film include 'Kick-Ass', 'Night Bitch' and 'Insect Man' seen here during filming of a sequence on the Toronto set of the Universal Pictures sequel.

Carrey's  'Colonel Stars" is a former mob enforcer who becomes a born-again Christian and leads the costumed vigilante team, 'Justice Forever'.

The film shoots in Toronto until September 23, 2012, before changing to US locations.

"Kick-Ass 2", based on Marvel's ICON imprint comic book series by writer Mark Millar and illustrator John Romita Jr., follows main character 'Dave Lizewski', aka 'Kick-Ass' (Aaron Johnson).

Kick-Ass is trying to form a team of superheroes, while preparing for the arrival of 'The Red Mist' (Christopher Mintz-Plasses) , an enemy gathering a team of 'supervillains', to defeat both Kick-Ass and 'Mindy McCready', aka 'Hit-Girl' (Chloe Grace Moretz) :

"...'Mindy' trains Kick-Ass to be a better hero while the two try to keep their real identities a secret. Mindy has been forced to retire her alter-ego 'Hit-Girl' by her step-father 'Marcus', a police officer who married Mindy's mother and assisted her father in his vigilante activities as 'Big Daddy'.

"'Kick-Ass' then forms alliances with friends and other local heroes, joining the super-hero team, 'Justice Forever', led by a pair of reformed mob enforcers. The group is then alerted to the threat of the 'Red Mist', who renames himself 'Motherfucker' on his Twitter feed to recruit allies for his new super-villain group.

"Failing to convince Mindy to come out of her forced retirement, Kick-Ass is confronted by his dad, just as MF makes his move, attacking the Justice Forever headquarters and killing the group's leader 'Colonel Stars' and his dog. 

"The heroes in Justice Forever agree to let the police handle MF's gang, aka the ' Mega Toxic Cunts'. But MF stages an attack on the suburban neighborhood where Kick-Ass' girlfriend 'Katie Deauxma' lives. While MF's female bodyguard 'Mother Russia' plays look-out, the villains assault Katie and murder her family. 

"When the police get involved, all known superheroes and supervillains in the city are arrested, leading to Kick-Ass' dad sacrificing himself to be arrested in order to protect his son. MF then arranges for the murder of Kick-Ass' dad in prison, followed by planting explosions at his funeral, killing everyone in attendance, including Hit-Girls' mother.
