"Star Trek: DIscovery" Updates



Take a look @ leaked images from the Toronto set of "Star Trek: Discovery", revealing the new-look 'Klingon' warriors, waiting to appear in the sixth live-action "Star Trek" TV series and the first since "Star Trek Enterprise", debuting in 2017 on the CBS 'All Access' premium streaming service.


New cast additions include Terry Serpico as 'Admiral Anderson', Maulik Pancholy as 'Dr. Nambue',  chief medical officer of the 'Starship Shenzhou' and Sam Vartholomeos as  'Ensign Connor', a junior officer in 'Starfleet Academy'.


They join Michelle Yeoh as 'Captain Georgiou' of the 'Starship Shenzhou'. Doug Jones and Anthony Rapp have also been cast, with Jones playing 'Lt. Saru', a 'Starfleet Science Officer' and new alien species to the "Star Trek" universe and Rapp as 'Lt. Stamets', an 'astromycologist' and 'Starfleet Science Officer' aboard 'Starship Discovery'. 


Sonequa Martin-Green aka 'Sasha' on AMC's "The Walking Dead" has been cast as 'Commander' of 'Starship Discovery'. 


Also cast is Chris Obi as 'T’Kuvma', a Klingon leader seeking to unite the Klingon houses. Shazad Latif as Kol, the 'Commanding Officer' of the Klingons and Mary Chieffo as 'L’Rell', the 'Battle Deck Commander' of the Klingon ship.
