According to reports, the rank and file membership of Canadian performers union ACTRA has now ratified its contract agreement with the Canadian Film and Television Production Assn. (CFTPA) and its Quebec counterpart, six months before an existing deal expires Dec. 31.
The new agreement gives film actors a rate increase of 2% each year over three years, with the rest of the previous collective agreement’s terms and conditions remaining unchanged.
