The currently shooting Netflix 10-episode vampire drama "V-Wars" adapts the IDW comic book title by Jonathan Maberry, starring Ian Somerhalder ("The Vampire Diaries") for producers William Laurin and Glenn Davis:
"...'Dr. Luther Swann' (Somerhalder), enters a world of horror when a mysterious disease transforms his best friend, 'Michael Fayne', into a predator.
"As the disease spreads and more people are transformed, society fractures into opposing camps pitting normal people against the growing number of vampires.
